I was really craving some Swedish Meatballs, but didn't have the time to actually make meatless meatballs. So, I popped in my local grocery store, grabbed a pack of pre-made vegetarian meatballs and 20 minutes later dinner was ready!
Super Easy Vegetarian Swedish Meatballs
1 pack of noodles of choice
1 pack Gardein meatless meatballs (or meatballs of choice)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon ground mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups vegetable broth
4 tablespoons flour
pepper and salt to taste
Lets Get Cooking!
Preheat oven and cook meatballs per package instructions
Boil water and cook pasta per package instrustions
While pasta is cooking mix broth, cream, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and mustard together
Melt butter in a skillet over medium high heat for 5 minutes, add flour, olive oil and stir
Add broth and heavy cream mixture to skillet, stir and let simmer for 5 minutes
Remove meatballs from oven, add to sauce, stir to coat
